We had a wonderful Christmas Day here at The Valleys. There was lots of festive fun and gifts for all, as well as our staff dressing in festive attire to add to the holiday feel within the home.

Here at The Valleys we have been getting into the Christmas spirit in our favourite way. Opening the festive chocolates & biscuits, dimming the lights & enjoying a classic Christmas film together.
What’s your favourite part of Christmas?
Here at The Valleys, both residents and staff were blown away once again by Rochelle, as she came and entertained everyone. Her Christmas show was lovely, there was laughter, tears, singing, and cheering – all the emotions.
What a brilliant way to get us high in Christmas Spirit and can’t wait for the big day!…
Our recent Christmas church service at The Valleys was beautiful, we sang all our favourite hymns from Away In A Manger to Silent Night & a little Good King Wenceslas.
We all chatted about our Christmas memories & laughed until it was time for tea.
Here at The Valleys, we are getting ready for the care home olympics, practicing our table tennis skills with our brand new table top tennis kit, this net can be attached anywhere which is great for exercise but also keeping our hand/eye coordination at a good level – ready for some competition!
Here at The Valleys, we recently had a lovely day of carol singing with some of our residents. A few of them were sat around the table singing to three other lovely residents that were snuggled up nice and warm in the lounge as you can see!
A massive well done to the students of John Leggott College who spent a chilly morning in Tesco spreading some festive cheer, and a huge thank you for choosing us at The Valleys as your fundraising champion – all funds raised are placed in our residents activities pot.
We can’t thank you enough!…
Here at The Valleys, our residents absolutely loved having The Entertainment Providers with us at the weekend. They treated us all to a fantastic pantomime, Jack and The Beanstalk was a huge hit for our residents and all in all was a brilliant addition to this festive season of entertainment at the home!
Here at The Valleys, we have recently been making our very own Christmas decorations for the home! When we asked residents about their childhood memories surrounding Christmas, making decorations was in the top 3 for many of them – what better way to remember the joy of Christmas.
Here at The Valleys both staff and residents are super excited for a fun-filled festive month. We have plenty of great themed activities in store as well as the home being fully decked out with trees, snowflakes and much more making the home feel like Santa’s grotto!
